Targets
At the end of this course, users shall acquire familiarity with the main concepts of Information Technology (ICT).

Users shall be able to describe the structure of a personal computer both in terms of hardware and software and the basic ICT concepts like data storage and memory.

Users shall also learn how to use IT networks and software programs for their daily tasks and understand the main issues connected to the health and safety of use of PCs, and their environmental impact.

Targets

Module 3 - Word processing [Top]

Targets

At the end of this course users will have acquired the knowledge and skills required to use document processing applications.
Users shall be able to perform the ordinary tasks required to create, format and configure the layout of short documents, and prepare them for distribution.

More specifically, they will learn how to copy and move text within a single or several documents.

Users will also learn how to use the main features of document processing applications like those used to create tables, insert drawings and images in documents, and send a document to several recipients.
